Hello, I’m Candice!
My love for photography sparked at 10 years old, when my Dad handed me a Pentax k100. I remember watching for beautiful sunsets and running outside to capture them. From there, my interest only continued to blossom. After high school, upon the discovery that I wanted to make this passion a career, I enrolled in OSU-IT where I earned my degree in Photography, and have since continued in the industry for more than a decade. My hope is to be able to show the beauty in any phase of life that I am documenting, but Weddings and Elopements are my favorite! I strive not only to capture couples' most beautiful, life reflecting moments, but to make the entire process stress-free and comfortable. I aspire for my photos to not only serve as memories, but to be storytellers and inspiration for generations to come.
When I’m not in work mode, you’ll find me exploring National Parks and the great outdoors with my husband, Bryce and our Yorkie, Tigger. Of course a little indoor relaxation is nice too, during those times I’ll likely be binge watching The Office, Parks and Rec and Seinfield, or perhaps admiring Kevin Costner in Dances With Wolves or Brad Pitt in Legends of the Fall, while chowing down pizza topped with Pepperoni and Pineapple (yes, I’m one of those!) If you haven’t figured it out yet, I enjoy a good laugh, which is why I love shooting quirky, fun couples on their big day!
I definitely consider myself an enthusiast of the Grand Tetons. I first came to the valley in 2007 for my college internship where I was taught the ins and outs of photographing weddings and elopements in the Tetons. From then on I was hooked, it's always been my home away from home. Thankfully, Bryce also fell in love with the Tetons and when it came time for us to plan our own wedding, there was no question where it had to be. He graciously let me spend a good portion of our wedding day visiting some of our favorite epic Teton locations for photos! We even got to have our beloved Tigger along for the fun, it was an unforgettable day.
If you are interested in working with me, shoot me a message, and let’s talk about what your idea of the perfect day is!
